Abstract
This third issue of Ijtihad Journal for Islamic and Arabic Studies highlights the renewal of Islamic knowledge within European and Western contexts through multidisciplinary academic approaches. It features seven peer-reviewed scholarly articles covering areas such as Orientalism, parallel diplomacy, colonial history, interfaith dialogue, Qur’anic studies, modernist readings, and Maliki jurisprudence. In addition, the issue includes two book reviews on contemporary Islamic thought in Europe, as well as a presentation of the recent activities of the Ijtihad Center. The issue reflects the journal’s commitment to rigorous academic peer review and methodological and thematic diversity, and it invites researchers to contribute to upcoming issues in order to further a balanced and critical understanding of Islam in contemporary contexts.
