Ijtihad Journal Continues to Consolidate Islamic Academic Knowledge in the European Context
Main Article Content
Abstract
The fifth issue of the Ijtihad Journal for Islamic and Arabic Studies reaffirms its commitment to advancing rigorous Islamic scholarship within the European context by integrating authentic Islamic intellectual traditions with contemporary academic approaches. The issue reflects the journal’s growing academic reputation, rigorous peer-review standards, and increasing visibility in scholarly indexing platforms. It features an editorial, five peer-reviewed research articles on Islamic jurisprudence, contemporary Islamic thought, fatwas, institutional work, and Sufi epistemology, alongside three book reviews, an academic translation, and news from the Ijtihad Center. Together, these contributions promote interdisciplinary research and deepen understanding of Islam and Muslims in contemporary societies.
